Aleia

Aleia is a self-taught artist, author and experienced practitioner in the fields of Somatic engagement and trauma transmutation work. 

All of her creative creations come from a profound love of Nature, Animals & Life. Every piece begins as an imagination sketch enhanced by a variety of colorful, hand-held media, such as watercolor or colored pencils, before embellishment by computer editing for diversity and creative expression. All glitter & sparkles are CG.

Some artwork is crafted from original and biosafe material only, such as teas, coffees and herbal tinctures in place of conventional paints. Due to the high toxicity present in standard artistic media, Aleia felt at-odds using environmentally-toxic substances to create Nature-oriented work. Formulating a collection of natural paints is now one of her core artistic goals. She aims to continue this goal by offering more environmentally-healthy options in clothing material and products, especially as awareness and technology improve.
